I. ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
1. Process routine accounting source documents for completeness and accuracy
and prepares corresponding Disbursement Vouchers (DVs) for each transaction;
2. Maintain and updates subsidiary ledger for each account;
3. Assists the Administrative Assistant in preparation of Cash Advance and
Liquidation/Reimbursement Report for Mabatas Checkpoint snacks and rice
subsidy;
4. Assists the Administrative Assistant in preparation of cash deposit/deposit
summary;
5. Consolidate accounting reports, and weekly monitors monthly variances, analysis
reports, summarizes issues and gives recommendations, inform and coordinates with concerned employee and/or Department to help resolve the issue; and,
6. Functions related to receiving and releasing of Disbursement Vouchers (DVs), check payments and other FAS related documents;
7. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job (Accounting, Finance)
Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software
Familiarity with basic accounting
With atleast one (1) year experience is required
