The Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC) is looking for two (2) Exploration Head/Senior Geologist with the following qualifications:

Qualification Standards:

Education       : Must posses at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology;

Experience     : One (1) year relevant work experience 

Eligibility         : RA1080 (Geologist)

Training           : At least sixteen (16) hours of relevant training

Duties and Responsibilities:

Exploration and Resource:

  1. Provides technical support in project evaluation, verification and monitoring;
  2. Undertakes geologic surveys and related evaluation works to assess the mineral potentials of a certain area;
  3. Plans and conducts site inspection, in coordination with concerned Project Managers, to evaluate progress/status of mining activities;
  4. Monitors the Company’s and/or its Operators adherence and compliance with all relevant mining laws, rules and regulations;
  5. Works closely with technical consultants and all concerned staff of the Company in matters concerning the Company’s mining projects;
  6. Represents the Company in meetings and conferences as may be directed;
  7. Submits all required reports, drafts memoranda, etc. within the prescribed timeline; and,
  8. Performs other functions/tasks as may be assigned.

The Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC) is looking for a Liaison Officer (Dinagat Field Office) with the following qualifications:

Qualification Standards:

Education       : High School Graduate or completion of vocational course;

Experience     : One (1) year relevant work experience 

Eligibility         : None required 

Training           : No training required

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitors and ensures that the provisions of the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) between PMDC and the Partner-Operators are complied with;
  2. Ensures that the Partner-Operators submit the required status to the PMDC Main Office in a timely manner;
  3. Obtains grab samples on all stockpiles for assaying and reference and forward said samples to the PMDC Main Office for independent analysis, as directed;
  4. Coordinates with the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) representative/s and represents PMDC in the actual draft survey of vessel before and after loading operations;
  5. Submits timey feedback and reports to management;
  6. Performs other task as may be assigned;

The Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC) is looking for a Human Resources Specialist with the following qualifications:

Qualification Standards:

Education       : Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field;

Experience     : One (1) year relevant work experience; 

Eligibility         : None required; 

Training           : At least four (4) hours relevant training;

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the HR Officer in recruitment, selection and promotion, training and staff development;
  2. Conducts initial document screening on submitted applications based on completeness and qualification requirement of the vacancy applied for;
  3. Advises the applicants on the schedule of assessment and interviews;
  4. Prepares the standard documents for recruitment selection and promotion such as applicant’s profile, interview assessment forms, etc.;
  5. Provides assistance during the screening process and interview;
  6. Prepares various HRD requests like Certificate of Employment, Change of Name/Status and the like;
  7. Monitors employee attendance and generates reports on monthly attendance for salary computation;
  8. Drafts memorandum/notices of tardiness or absenteeism/routine;
  9. Assists in the implementation of Employee Relations Program which includes the monitoring of employees’ adherence to HRAD policies, and 
  10. Performs other functions/tasks as may be assigned;
